If you wish to successfully apply to studies in English at SGH as an international student, please read the following step-by-step guide on the admission process for studies in English:
1. Register in the on-line registration system
Create an account and fill in the forms in the on-line registration system: start with your basic personal data and contact address. Then select for which cycle of study you wish to apply. Next, upload a photo of yourself – choose it carefully as we will use it for your student ID card. Create the list of fields of study you are interested in and arrange them according to your preferences. Do not forget to check your account for important messages on regular basis.
2. Submit the required documents
As soon as your photograph is accepted, you will be able to print out your application form. Sign it and scan it, then upload it in the 'document upload' tab. You should also upload a scan of your secondary education certificate and a document confirming your knowledge of English at least at B2 level. If your secondary education certificate was not issued in Polish or English, you should also upload a scan of its certified translation into either of these two languages. If you have non-Polish secondary education certificate, it is very likely that you will need to legalise it or endorse it with an apostille, as well as submit it to Polish Educational Office for recognition of education - please read more about this requirements in 'Required documents' tab. If you have any such document, please upload it as well. After you submit your scans for verification, we will need a couple of days to verify them - you will see the outcome of the verification process in the document upload tab in the registration system. In the case we have any doubts or require some additional documents, we will contact you through the registration system.
3. Wait for your decision on admission
Once your documents are accepted, you need to wait for your decision on admission to studies. The first round of decisions will be issued in mid-July. You may collect your decision on admission personally in the Promotion and Admissions Office or we can send it to you by post.
- The on-line registration system is open from 9 May to 8 September 2019.
- Creating an account in the on-line registration system is your first and necessary step of the admissions procedure.
- If you encounter any problems regarding your documents, please do not hesitate to contact the Promotion and Admissions Office – we will guide you and assist you.
