SGH is the leading economic university in Poland. SGH means international quality of education. According to the Global Master’s in Management ranking by The Financial Times, SGH has been ranked among the best European universities. We are members of many prestigious international organisations. We are also the only Poland-based academic member of CEMS, as well as the only Polish member of Partnership in International Management. We also have a variety of accreditations (e.g. ACCA, AMBA, CEEMAN (IQA), CeQuInt).
SGH means professional success. In the 2016 ranking by “Rzeczpospolita”, a Polish newspaper, SGH and the Warsaw University of Technology were both ranked first as the universities that graduated the largest number of future presidents of the largest Polish companies. Our alumni also have it easier on the labour market. According to the Nationwide System of Monitoring Economic Careers of Graduates of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, SGH alumni were the best-compensated 2015 graduates of full-time second-cycle economic programmes in Poland.
SGH means experience and development. We intensively cooperate with business environment not only in terms of research and education, but also in management of the University. Our corporate partners organise numerous workshops, lectures, and meetings at our University, which enable our students to meet with actual business practitioners. The SGH also organises study visits in companies and manages various research projects and conferences.
SGH is your window to the world. The SGH participates in international exchange programmes for students and staff alike. Every year, nearly 500 SGH students complete parts of their study programmes abroad, and an almost equal number of foreign students study at SGH, out of which about 300 students are participants of an exchange programme. At present, the SGH exchanges students with nearly 260 universities from about 50 countries. We also offer various double degree programmes.
SGH is imply full of life. This is mostly due to SGH’s active student bodies organising hundreds of events and projects. By organising and participating in such project, our students gain valuable experience and develop the skills and competences that help them to thrive on the labour market.
