 The Saragossa Manuscript

We are pleased to invite you to the screenning of „The Saragossa Manuscript” (1964), directed by Wojciech Jerzy Has. The film has been cited among the best loved films of such greats as David Lynch, Francis Ford Coppola or Martin Scorsese, who digitally restored it and presented in USA.

„The Saragossa Manuscript” is imaginative and supernatural film set at the end of the Napoleonic War. During the heat of battle, Belgian officer Alphonse van Worden stumbles across an ancient manuscript. As he reads, a labyrinth of stories unfolds and takes the audience on a twisted trail through time and space.

The film will be shown with English subtitles and introduced with a short lecture. Everything is in English.
