Opis:

The first-cycle studies in International Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics provide the knowledge and develop the skills necessary to start a career in the central and local government administration as well as public institutions and NGOs operating internationally, in manufacturing and service companies maintaining contacts with partners abroad and to conduct an independent business activity whose scope includes foreign markets. They give a good theoretical and methodological basis to take up the second-cycle studies.​

Korzyści:

A graduate of the first-cycle studies in the field of International Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics can:

  • practically apply the knowledge to solve simple problems concerning entities involved in international activities,
  • use basic techniques of data collection and methods of analysis in studies of the world economy and the economies of countries and their groups,
  • accomplish simple research tasks concerning the processes taking place in the world economy or in its parts,
  • identify factors of international competitiveness of countries and companies,
  • conduct international transactions,
  • working an international multicultural team,
  • logically draw conclusions and make judgments based on data from various sources,
  • communicate with specialists in the same discipline as well as other professionally related persons,
  • develop through self-study,
  • make decisions and organize working a team,
  • speak fluently two languages, and part-time study graduates should know one foreign language at an advanced level.​

Students will be given the opportunity of choosing between two specialisations:

  • Economics of Central and Eastern Europe,
  • International Business Management.

Completion of studies (obtaining credits and passing exams) submission of thesis, degree examination.​
